Almost all quilters have some “orphan” blocks that were leftover from earlier quilting projects. This workshop is your chance to use your existing fabric stash and to gather up your leftover blocks and partly assembled bits and pieces and sew them together into a quilt that you then might wish to donate to Ottawa Family Services Anti-Violence programs supported by the OVQG. Mara will provide guidance and suggestions on how you might want to approach the assembly of random orphan blocks, triangles, and other scrap fabric pieces. FREE batting and backing will be available for quilts that will be donated to Ottawa Family Services. Let’s make this a relaxing productive mid-winter sew day!
