The guild holds a varied collection of quilting magazines. Subscriptions may change from year to year depending upon the interests of the membership. Magazines are generally kept for a period of two years and are then sold to make way for new collections.
Magazine Borrowing Policies
- Magazines are normally borrowed and returned at the Magazines table during the monthly meeting. If you request a specific magazine, it can be picked up at the Magazines table at the following monthly meeting (if it is available).
- Two new magazines, and up to 4 other magazines, may be borrowed before the meeting break. After the break, any number of magazines can be borrowed.
- Magazines may be borrowed for one month only. Delays in returning a magazine are subject to a fine of $1 per magazine, per month.
- During the winter months — when the monthly meeting is on Zoom only — you can still borrow and return magazines by scheduling an appointment with the Magazines Coordinator at their home in Old Ottawa South. Extension of the normal borrowing period may also be possible for these months.
If you have questions, or wish to request a magazine or make an appointment, please email the Magazines Coordinator.
