Pojagi Improv window hanging - on ZOOM

Weekends busy?  Laundry?  Cleaning?  Kids? ... Let's try something new!  A Thursday workshop ???  Yes, it's happening!!! 

Elizabeth DeCroos, our February speaker, will teach us her Korean quilting technique, via Zoom.  We'll use fat quarters to create a one-of-a-kind Pojagi project!  Bring out those batiks ... yum.

In this class we'll learn two different methods of Pojagi seams. If you struggle with getting started with improv piecing, working in a group will get you going.  Once you start, you won’t be able to make just one. Two designs to choose from.

StarQuar Scrap Quilt - ZOOM Workshop

Diane, our March speaker, loves scrap quilting!!  In this ZOOM workshop, she'll show us how to turn our scrap into a gorgeous starry sky—and  more!  We can use leftovers, our most loved fabrics, or both! 

Concepts will cover value, contrast, color, scale, difficult prints, and more; plus many ideas for assembling the quilt. See how diverse fabrics can work together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.  

We may expand your skill set ... and ... contract your stash??  We can hope!!

Some precutting will be helpful.

Land of the Silver Birch Quilt Workshops

Join us for a two-day in-person workshop creating birch tree quilts!!!  Many of  you know Beth, and have requested this; we're pleased she's agreed.   

Day 1 - is the background and preparing the trees; Day 2 - is inserting the trees, and learning how to quilt & finish them. 

**Note:  dates are Saturday May 31  & Sunday June 8

Finished size, about 54" sq.   

Suitable for Confident Beginner.
