Level: Beginner and intermediate
Many people know how to piece a quilt with exactitude but don’t know how to frame their quilt without stretching the edges. In this class, we’ll discuss plain and mitered borders, the proper and quick ways to determine measurements and pinning. Bring a small quilt that needs to be framed and we’ll attach the dreaded borders. In the second part of this class we’ll learn the binding rules. Bring a quilted placemat and we’ll learn the easiest way to sew on the binding whether you want to finish by hand or by machine.
