The OVQG holds a quilt show every two years to showcase the work of our members. The show is always held on the Mother’s Day weekend in May, and our most recent show in 2025 featured over 200 entries spanning 14 categories!

• Quilts in the main show categories are eligible for merit ribbons awarded by a CQA-certified judge.
• Quilts entered in the "President's Challenge" category are eligible for ribbons awarded by the OVQG co-presidents.
• Quilts from any category may also be awarded "Viewers Choice" ribbons, as voted on by show attendees.

The OVQG quilt show also features from 15 to 20 vendors, both local and from farther afield, who are there to provide quilters with both materials and plenty of inspiration for their future endeavours.

(Note: The OVQG quilt show and the Common Thread Quilt Guild quilt show are held in alternating years.)
