Quilting Basics - Foundation Paper Piecing:
A Beginners' Introduction
You will learn the basics of sewing fabric and paper together to create interesting shapes and designs. The technique is ideal to join long narrow shapes and tiny pieces. You will make a 9" x 9" project, which you can finish later as a mug rug, placemat, wall-hanging, or cushion. If you always wanted to try this technique, and were nervous, here's a great small project to start with!
Everyone will have a separate 6’ table. Masks are not mandatory but health officials are still recommending we use them to stay safe. It’s your choice but please respect other people’s decisions.
PLEASE NOTE: You will also need to bring a Fat Quarter for the backing.
The kitchen is available for making tea or coffee, and reheating in the microwave. We can put our lunches in the fridge.
Your Member Instructor is Diane Quirouette.
Member’s fee is $30. Non-member fee is $35.
