First we will look at a variety of pictures to illustrate design principles. You will design your composition with paper and scissors.
Using commercial fabrics or your own hand dyed, and fused applique, watch your woodland grow. Instruction will be given to show how free motion machine embroidery can be used to give the effect of bark and create grasses and leaves.
