During this six hour workshop you will learn all the techniques needed to complete this pillow - applique, embroidery, quilting, paper pieced border. I will bring a large selection of my applique for show and tell and give a thorough demonstration of all my self-taught (and easy!) applique and embroidery methods. This is my most basic course and I have yet to meet someone who was unable to complete this pillow and during the process have converted many to a love of applique! Those attending the course will receive a full-sized copy of the pattern. During the day you will trace the pattern and start the applique and by the end of the day you should have completed one piece of applique for each of the various methods used in the pillow. After lunch I will give a demonstration on the saw-tooth border and finishing of the pillow.
