If you’ve ever wanted to dive into quilting, but didn’t know where to start, this is the place!

We are pleased to offer again this workshop for beginner or novice quilters.  You will learn Piecing, i.e. the construction of some basic units used in quilt designs.

Students will learn about choosing and prepping fabric, the basics of rotary cutting, pressing technique and the 1/4" seam, half-square triangles (HSTs), 4-patches, 9 patches and flying geese.  If time permits, we will cover and square-in-a-square.

Our Instructor is Anne Rankin.  Thanks so much Anne!

Note:  This is a Techniques Workshop for Beginners.  No actual quilts will be completed.  Participants must have a working sewing machine and be able to operate it.

Member's fee is $45

Guest fee is $50

Space: 4 min/8 max
