Quilt Show

entry form

The entry form for the Ottawa Valley Quilters Guild 2017 quilt show to be held May 12-14, 2017 is below. You fill it out by answering the questions in the form right on this page. Move between questions using the Tab key or your mouse. At the end there is a submit button. You can review and make changes to your answers up until you submit your entry. Make sure your email address is typed correctly. After you submit your entry, you will receive an email summarizing your answers. Retain the email for your reference. Reply to the email to request changes, such as fixing typos, supplying new measurements, or to withdraw your entry. If you don't get the email, contact the Registrar.

Entries must be received by March 27th. Entries received after that date will not be accepted.

Your entry is incomplete without a digital colour photo of the quilted item. The entry form and photo may be submitted separately as long as the photo is identified with your name and the entry title. Your item does not have to be complete at the time you submit your entry, but the photo must be recognizable as to pattern, colour and style. If you choose to send your photo by email, the easiest way is to reply to the summary email you receive and attach the photo. If you send it in a separate email to the Registrar, please specify your name and the quilt title in the subject line The photo must be received by March 27th; otherwise, your entry will be withdrawn.  The only exception to this deadline is if your entry form specifies OVQG photographer. Because the March meeting was cancelled, the photographer will be taking photos at the April meeting. This change does not affect when your entry form is due.

If you choose to have a written critique done, you may pay the fee in person at the quilt show table at one of the January through April meetings. If mailed, it must be post-marked no later than March 31. You will find the mailing address here.

Please ensure that your quilt is insured under your personal household policy. We will make every effort to protect your work, but we do not carry insurance to cover the value of the quilt.
