The fine art of ruler quilting with Kellie!
Join us on May 9, 2022, as we explore the art of ruler quilting with Kellie Kaczmarek from Silly Moon Quilting. Kellie’s presentation will cover the basics of quilting with rulers on a longarm and on a domestic machine. Together we will delve into the benefits of ruler quilting, the difference in ruler thicknesses, how to choose a ruler, how to set up your machine and work area for ruler quilting, the markings on rulers and what they mean, and many other useful tips and tricks for creating wonderfully quilted quilts! Kellie will also present an “over the shoulder” demonstration of the basics of ruler quilting, and a small trunk show of amazing quilts! And as a bonus, someone can ask her the origin of the name Silly Moon Quilting, it is quite an interesting and cute story!
