Julie Silber
Join us on June 13 2022, for the final program of the 2021/22 QVQG year. But before we take that much needed summer break, we will welcome Julie Silber all the way from Berkley, California.
Julie looks at a very different aspect of quilts - humour! We will have the opportunity to enjoy some very funny 19th and 20th century quilts that will have you smiling.
Julie says that “women have always expressed their whole selves in quilts: their love, losses, accomplishments, joys, and sorrows … and most importantly their humour!”
It will be a pleasurable hour or so as we learn about some historically funny parts of our craft. So log on to our Zoom meeting on June 13 to laugh and learn along with Julie.
