Tamara Kate - A Peek into the World of Fabric Design

This month we are happy to welcome Tamara Kate (www.tamarakatedesign.com). Tamara spent her youth growing up in the Caribbean and later returned to Canada where she lives in Montreal, Quebec. She will delight us with her lecture, A Peek into the World of Fabric Design. Tamara will talk of her creative journey within the worlds of fabric design and quilt making and share information on her 9 years (and counting) in the industry: how she got the gig, the process from idea to printed fabric, how she designs, her sources of inspiration, and many other tidbits she’s gathered during the makings of her 15+ collections. All this while showing samples from the processes and of course, lots and lots of quilts.
